In this use case report, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) demonstrates the various ways in which All Payer All Claims Data is utilized in the state. The use cases are broken down into three main groups based on the type of user and the purpose of the project; Oregon State Agency Uses - Mandated by Statute, Oregon State Agency Uses - Not Mandated by Statute, and External Data Uses. The various topics that fall under these three main sections, are areas where data is collected in order to help improve health care quality, reduce costs, and promote transparency in the state of Oregon.
