On March 1, 2018, a U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), Michael Bennet (D-CO), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Tom Carper (D-DE), Todd Young (R-IN), and Claire McCaskill (D-MO) released a press release discussing the launch of a bi-partisan Health Care Price Transparency Initiative. Led by Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), the Initiative aims to gather feedback from healthcare and patient communities around the improvement of price transparency in the healthcare market as the Senators begin to develop legislation. The APCD Council has responded to the call for feedback, which is available below along with state and other Learning Network participant responses.
