The following report shows utilization of services by geography (rate of Vaginal Deliveries per thousand people in the area) as well as average facility payments for the top 20 volume facilities and average payments for the top 20 volume counties for Vaginal Deliveries.
(Note: Costs only include the costs billed by the facility from any submitter of claims in the Colorado APCD and are not inclusive of the additional, separately billed professional services that can accompany a procedure.) Facilities are currently anonymous.
County-level data represents location of residence of the people receiving Vaginal Deliveries, not the location where the services were received. All data comes directly from the Colorado All Payer Claims Database. Vaginal Deliveries is determined by All Payer Refined Diagnostic Related Group (APR DRG) 560, a specific code generated by the grouping technology that classifies inpatient claims.
